I am a traveling showman-- a variety entertainer.
I have been performing throughout the United States for the past twenty-eight years. My work is perfect for Parent’s Weekend, Sibling Weekend, Spring Carnival, Homecoming, Orientation, Winter Carnival, or just about any special event any time during the school year.
My little monkey-girl, Django, will delight you with her antics. She’ll play catch with you, shake hands, take coins that are offered to her, give ‘kissies’, climb on your shoulder for a photo, stand on her hands, and do all kinds of ‘monkey tricks’, and meanwhile, I will amaze and mystify you with close-up magic tricks, songs, stories, and comic repartee. I reintroduce the persona of the ‘organ grinder’ with his top hat and concertina and warm accessibility. Presented in a strolling fashion, the ‘Monkey Man’ is a delight to all and will be the talk of your campus.
Of course, if you like, Django and I can also present a staged, 30 - 40 minute variety show, presented in the style of old time vaudeville, that includes music, magic, juggling, fire-eating, audience participation, and, of course, ‘monkey stunts’. It’s old timey ‘corn’ and lots of fun for all.
My hours vary from campus to campus, but I generally spend the day presenting combinations of strolling and 'staged' performances.
Some sponsors just want me to stroll with the monkey. Some just want stage shows. However, most sponsors want a little bit of both. So we generally schedule one or two stage shows, and the rest of the time, I'm strolling with Django.
